2nd Mobitrust Workshop - “Situational Awareness” em Plataformas de Emergência e Segurança Pública

The evolution of communication platforms supporting emergency and public safety services toward new telecommunications technologies, such as 4G and 5G, paves the way for new situational awareness mechanisms in PPDR (Public Protection and Disaster Recovery) scenarios such as natural disasters, wildfires, and large-scale event security.

The 2nd MOBITRUST Workshop aims to bring together professionals in civil protection, operators of communication platforms for emergency and public safety services, equipment and service providers, the academic community, and other relevant stakeholders to discuss and analyze the roadmap for the evolution of communication networks for PPDR and the entire ecosystem of related services and applications — with a focus on migration to technologies like 4G and 5G.

The Workshop will take place in the morning of January 25 at the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco. Participation is free of charge, but due to logistical constraints, participants must register in advance.
