This Workshop presented, discussed and provided a hands-on experience on the state-of-the-art technologies for enhanced security and privacy protection of mobile devices. These technologies include:
- Advanced Trusted Execution Environment (compliant with Global Platform);
- Virtualization solutions for mobile devices (dual or multi-persona devices);
- Secure mobile device management (based on Open Source code);
- Out-of-band authentication solutions (cryptographic middleware suite using smartcards);
- Other specific secure solutions for mobile devices;
- Applications specifically targeted for Public Safety communications.
