Co-located with TechDays Aveiro 2019, the 1st Workshop of Mobilizador 5G took place on October 10th, 2019. The workshop consisted of sessions for each project work package, and Mobitrust was presented as part of PPS3 – Products and services for M2M communication. The presentation, entitled “Leveraging 5G Communications for Sensorized Situational Awareness in PPDR Operations”, was given by Luís Cordeiro from OneSource, and focused on what the Mobitrust Platform can bring for full situational awareness in PPDR operations, as well as the motivation towards the shift from legacy technologies communication technologies such as TETRA to more capable and widespread technologies such as 4G and more recently 5G.
